2011 is Here!

We made it through another year and another holiday season having survived. Some of us are limping, but we made it. In spite of our struggles, we are still on the winning side and still part of the victorious army of God.
2011 promises to be a prosperous year. We have many promises and words that God must bring to past. Let us anticipate what only God can bring to pass in this exciting new year. I determine to bury my failures and pursue my promises! I will rise with faith and take this new year on with fervency.
My prayer is that we step into a new dimension in the area of outreach. The community of Sugartown belongs to this church and it is time to rise and take it back in Jesus Name. Prayer, fasting, bible reading, those are ingredients for the right recipe for revival!
Join us as we reading through the bible this year and prayer for the next month believing God to begin 2011 with a great harvest.
Sis. Rider and I want to thank this church for following us and being so wonderful to us. We do have a vision and we feel your support. Together, we will see those promises take place. We’ll be able to look back and say….”remember when that word was spoken….”!

Your for Revival!

It's That Time Again....

The oppressive hot days of summer will soon quickly turn to fall. School is just about back in session and schedules are returning to normal after the hurried scurry of summer. Soon the temperature will begin to show some mercy and the north winds will bring the cool days again. Time continues to march on, whether we like it or not, it continues.

While times and seasons change, the fact that souls still need Christ, well that never changes. The church has to be on the alert, on the offence and focused on reaching and winning those who need Him. Our business never changes though the temperature may. Our goal and reason for existing is to be the beacon of life and hope for those who seek a better life.

I challenge the church, be open and sensitive to the needs of others. Bring the
"church" with you where ever you may go. Be ready, be instant, give hope, bless, heal, pray, be His witness! Now more than ever.....

Season of Miracles in Sugartown

What a phenominal time was had on Sunday, June 13th with Evangelist David Smith and family. Bro. Smith preached the word and began to speak the Word Of Faith. WHen the night was finished, we had three brand new souls recieve the Holy Ghost and several notable miracles!

The miracle reports have continued to come in throughout the week. But as of right now, these are the reports we've recived. Niel Laborde was having chest pains and pressure, Bro. Smith laid hands and prayed and Niel was immediately healed. The pain and pressure left. Similarly, Curtis Nolen was having pressure in his chest and was prayed for and immediately the pressure left along with the pain that was in his shoulder. Calli Reed was healed of Sugar Diabetes. Delores Johnson was delivered from an addiction. These are the ones that have been recieved as a result of the move of God on Sunday night.

As well, we got a report of a young lady that was having complications with her pregnancy. She was prayed for and the doctors have declared that she is not longer having those complications and is no danger of losing her baby.

I can't explain God's timing with things. But there has always been a formula to recieving the supernatural. Prayer and fasting are the key elements to reaping a move of the Spirit. SPC has been in a season prayer and fasting since the beginning of 2010 and we are beginning to see the results.

We are thankful for what God is doing in Sugartown!

I Love This Place

SPC is such a wonderful church to be a part of. It is so exciting to see what God is doing in our church and our community. He is placing the right people in the right places.

There is a great sense of community among our people. I have watched as the folks here embrace and love every guest and make them feel like a part of the family.

Our youth ministry is picking up steam with the newly remodled youth chapel and events that are planned. Just hang around here, you'll never be board for sure, and you'll see the handy work of God!
