Sugartown Pentecostal Church is a made of a group of great people who will accept you for you! We are not interested in placing you in a box. We want to help you to grow in Christ.
We are a growing church set in the rural hill of Beauregard Parish. Sugartown is not a town at all, it is a small community just south of Pitkin, Louisiana. We are known for our delicious watermellons. It is widely believed that our watermellons are the sweetest there are. Traditon says that while transporting a load of Sugar by wagon accross the creek there in the area, the wagon toppled over spilling the sugar into the creek. This is where Sugartown got its name and is believed to be the reason behind its sweet watermellons. Another "claim to fame" that we have, is the post office in our community was the smallest in the country when it was in operation.
